Kevin Lewis, owing to his well-trained ear and phenomenal musical intuition, is one of those amazing musicians who can play with musicians he has just met as well as if they had been rehearsing for years! For fifteen years he was an essential member of the band at Celebration Circle, an arts-based Sunday morning worship gathering and still plays with Dana Clark at the Unity Church of San Antonio, four years and counting. He's also played guitar in the Lewis and Clark Musical Expedition led by his wife, Dana Clark. For five years he was a regular member of Butch Morgan’s Wednesday night band at Casbeers, where he accompanied different guest musicians each week. At the 2007 Sound Connections Music Conference he played for several hours each night, accompanying a steady stream of performers he’d never met as they each played a song. He has performed and recorded for over thirty years, sharing the stage with numerous artists and groups including: Doug Sahm, Augie Meyers, Shawn Phillips, Tish Hinojosa, Stephanie Urbina-Jones, Rachel Bissex, Tom Prasada-Rao, Michael Waid, Gary Davenport, Chris Pfeiffer, Ruthie Foster, Terri Hendrix and Lloyd Maines, Ruben V, Toat-Lee Bluz, Trinidad Pan Masters/World Tribe/E7, Mark Monaco, Alisa Claridy, Will Owen-Gage, and Johnsmith. He played the 2006 summer season in a musical production at the Josephine Theater, and performed for the President of Finland with Jartse Tuominen’s band at the 2002 Winter Olympics. He keeps a busy schedule teaching guitar and bass."   Kevin Lewis - bass, guitar
